We are excited to be celebrating our Annual Gala this year on Saturday, October 17, 2015 at the Coliseum’s Legacy Hall in Voorhees, NJ. We would very much like you to be part of this amazing event we have planned. This year’s theme will be called “Disco for Debbie”. We will be transforming this venue into a 1970’s type discotheque, complete with dinner, open bar, dancing, green-screen photo booths, and topped off with a live performance from “The Trammps”, famous for producing such great hits as “Disco Inferno”, “Where the Happy People Go”, “Hold back the Night”, and many other songs from the disco era. It promises to be a most fun evening and a night to remember for all that attend!

After being diagnosed with Stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer in 2011, despite her unfortunate and discouraging diagnosis, Debbie Chakler had a burning desire to help others suffering with cancer who are in need of financial support. This was the basis for starting the foundation named after her, “A Miracle for Debbie”.

Although Debbie’s battle with cancer ended in May 2013, her foundation continues to thrive and serves as her legacy of “paying it forward” regardless of circumstances. Her family and friends continue to remember her desire to keep her foundation alive by supporting events that help raise money to provide to those less fortunate while fighting this deadly disease that touches so many of us today.

This is not a “research” foundation, and all proceeds raised are given directly to cancer patients to use to help supplement medical bills and other financial expenses that occur due to their illness. Everyone involved with “A Miracle for Debbie” does work on a volunteer basis, no one gets paid, and 100% of the money raised goes directly to the recipients.

We are hopeful that you will contribute to our event by being an event sponsor, offering an item(s) we could raffle, attending our event, or by providing a donation at any level. Sponsoring or supporting our event is a great way for you to share your business or branding.
